Note: I would like to sell dog and
cat food on my site, but the shipping is cost prohibitive (for me
to order and for you to purchase) because the bags and cans are
so heavy. You are better off asking your local pet store to special
order the pet food for you.
I'm currently adding organic raw meat and bones, and vegetables,
into the diets of my dog, Diamond, and two cats, Chloe and Ellie.
Here's what I use for dry food: Innova's Evo. It's free of
grains, and contains good quality meat, vegetables and fruits. There's
one for cats and one for dogs.
Our almost three year old Premarin rescue horse,
Kokopelli, and his wonderful friend, Magic, are eating chemical
free hay, and natural whole oats (I did organic oats for his first
year, but it got too expensive) with (free choice) Minivite, the
multivitamin and mineral supplement that balances out grass hay.
They also get organic flax meal, which I buy in bulk from the natural
food store and grind in the coffee grinder, and a probiotic supplement,
called Optizyme by MannaPro. I'm using diatomaceous earth as a non-chemical
dewormer (it's been working very well). I've also used another product
that has DE in it with vitamins and minerals. They are getting Redmond's
Real Salt (healthy salt with over 50 minerals, it's one of the healthiest
salt available. It's for humans and horses. It replaces the salt/mineral
licks for horses, which I don't think are very good quality) and
The Source (seaweeds) free choice.
