I work very hard to build my animal friend's immune systems. That keeps them away from the vet. Living chemical free is really important. Excellent food, top-quality supplements, fresh water, exercise, sunshine, and for the horses--a variety of fresh grass in the pasture, and lots of love seems to be doing the trick.

I add organic raw meat and bones, and vegetables, into the diets of my dog, Diamond, and cat, Chloe (well, no bones for Chloe). I use Innova Evo dry cat and dog food, which has: no GMO's, no grains, just meat, veggies, fruits, vitamins and probiotics. I also use Innova Evo wet food. I'm really pleased with these foods. Diamond, who is turning ten this July, has white teeth, no tartar. And, he's full of energy. If you came to our door, you'd never know he was an older dog.

My horses get organic barley and oats, organic flax seed meal, and an organic medicinal mushroom supplement (for immune system health), and a vitamin supplement with probiotics. They also get free choice "real salt" and "the source" (seaweed trace minerals supplement), and chemical free hay. I use diatamaceous earth powder in applesauce for deworming.
