Amy's Opinion:

I'm a stickler for pure ingredients. Recently I learned that Ecover,
previously my favorite brand, uses sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) in a
number of their products. SLS is a controversial synthetic ingredient,
whether or not it starts out as coconut oil (as it does with Ecover).
I am troubled by the fact that many natural product companies
do not list all of the ingredients on their package, they list
product categories. This is not full disclosure in my book.

That said, I still think Ecover is the best of the other natural dish
and laundry products, aside from Aubrey. I've spoken to a
chemically sensitive person who can only use Ecover's herbal
dish liquid (she hadn't tried Aubrey's Earth Aware).

Long story short, I prefer Aubrey's Earth Aware and Liquid
Sparkle over any other "natural" cleaning products. The smell is
so delightful, it's a pleasure to inhale the delightful herbal scent-
no perfumes there. And, most importantly, they really clean.
Even though Earth Aware is soap, it cleans like a conventional
dish detergent without any soap residue. What more can you ask
for? And good old Bon Ami is still a top choice to replace
scouring powders.

Note on cellulose sponges-It's getting harder and harder to find
natural cellulose sponges without chemicals added (avoid sponges
that say "resists odors" because that means it's been chemically treated).
